I will start off by saying that I am IN LOVE with Primally Pure products, with a borderline obsession. I have used several different products and have yet to be disappointed in anything I have tried from this brand. When it comes to switching to a nontoxic lifestyle, I am really slow. I became interested in finding alternative household and personal products that were safer when my first child was born. But, I am slow in making the switch for a few reasons. One, I believe in trial and error first hand, so I have to use a product myself for awhile to decide if its something I would use more regularly. Two, I only try one thing at a time and wait until I run out instead of throwing everything out at once. Three, budgeting and sticking to it are important in our house so I need any product I commit to to be sustainable in our budget ongoing. I prioritized all items into categories (face, body, makeup, cleaning products, etc.) and as I ran out of something, I would try a new brand focused on nontoxic ingredients. For non toxic skincare products, I was very skeptical I would find anything nontoxic that worked in clearing up my pregnancy acne and blemishes. My skin is the clearest it is ever been and as a busy working mom I love that my routine takes me about 2 minutes a day. For real, 2 minutes. And many days, that two minutes of washing my face counts as my only self care. Charcoal Deodorant
If you think a natural deodorant does not work, you need to try this one! I tried a few before 
this and disliked the majority. They either did not work, quit halfway through the day, or made my skin breakout. This charcoal deodorant is exceptional. It keeps me from smelling all day (the point, really), is super smooth on my skin, and smells great. I will admit, I did try out the other Primally Pure natural deodorants. They have an amazing smelling Geranium version as well as Lavender, and these were also awesome. But, I did not love them QUITE as much as the charcoal so I switched back to my tried and true.
2. Cleansing Oil
Acne as a kid is a bummer, but acne as a “glowing” pregnant woman just STINKS! All the
makeup in my laptop bag for work did nothing for the hormone breakouts I experience during pregnancy. On top of breakouts, I have always had very dry skin regardless of the season. I started with the dry skin serum of their cleansing oil and I had smooth clear skin in less than a a week. I now use it daily, and blemishes I have had on my face for years are disappearing. This stuff is wonderful and the non-toxic ingredients dissolve impurities without over-drying.
3. Everything Spray
Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera Juice, and Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar. With my autoimmune condition, I have a lot of inflammation in general including with my skin. This spray works to combat any inflammatory skin anywhere. It is also great for any sensitive areas or areas prone to ingrown hairs. As a bonus, my husband loves the smell! Seriously, the everything spray is for everything. It’s awesome.
4. Baby Bar
double cleansing on my face when I need a little extra, on my pregnancy belly, and on my actual babies! They love the feeling of the goat milk soap and it does wonders for my dry skin. I include this one is my top four because my whole house uses it, and again, SUPER AFFORDABLE while still being effective.
